If you’re in the mood for adventure, this is the place to be! This spectacular peak looks impressive from the north face. The east side is well worth the effort!
The view from the top is breathtaking. You can see the Cevennes on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other. Between land and sea, this mountain is the symbol of the region, a part of its history and its terroir.
Accessible to everyone, it’s a 2-hour round trip. It’s so nice to take a break, gain some height and share a picnic in front of a unique view.
Our advice: This is a popular weekend venue, so to get the most out of it, it’s best to go during the week.

Beyond its splendor, the Pic Saint Loup is a site steeped in history, named after a medieval legend. We’ll tell you all about it!
Three brothers, Loup, Guiral and Clair, all in love with the same woman, set off in a croisade without knowing who would be the lucky one. But when they returned, the woman hadn’t survived. Overwhelmed with grief, the 3 brothers decided to end their lives on the summits of three neighbouring peaks: Saint Guiral, Saint Clair and Saint Loup. Thieri Loup was the last to die.
Your children will certainly love to hear you tell this story during the climb.
At the top you will find the Autenthic Chapel of Saint Joseph, which contributes to the preserved and natural charm of the site.
